My gear series: I'm really impressed by the durability of the Seal Line dry bags. We've had some for years and they've been exposed to the elements but I haven't had one fail yet. I use the clear bag for a lot of my important stuff that I stow for easy access (compass, matches, pocket knife, camera, rain gear, jacket, dry box, parachute cord, duct tape, etc.). The orange opaque dry bag contains my first aid kit. I tie on a short piece of parachute cord with a carabiner so the dry bags can be attached to the boat or other gear for easy carrying.
